Debt Review Clearance Certificate
What Is a Clearance Certificate?
A Clearance Certificate is an official document confirming that:
01
You have fully settled all short-term debts (excluding your home loan, if any),
02
You no longer require debt counselling or restructuring, and
03
Your debt review status may be formally removed from all credit bureau profiles.
Eligibility Criteria:
All short-term debts (such as credit cards, personal loans, retail accounts, and vehicle finance) originally included under your debt review must be settled in full.
If a vehicle loan was part of your debt review, it must also be fully paid off.
Your home loan may remain active, provided it is up to date.
Once the certificate is issued, your credit record is cleared of the debt review flag, allowing you to become credit-active again and work toward rebuilding your financial standing. If you have completed your repayments and are ready to move forward, let us help you obtain your Clearance Certificate without delay.
Prescribed Debt Removal
When Does Debt Prescribe?
01
No payments have been made for 3 years or more,
02
You have not acknowledged the debt in writing or verbally during that period.
03
The credit provider has not taken legal action or obtained judgment against you within that time.
Despite these legal protections, prescribed debt often continues to reflect on your credit profile, unfairly lowering your credit score.
How We Help:
Reviewing your credit reports from all major credit bureaus,
Identifying prescribed debts that are unlawfully listed,
Initiating the necessary disputes and correspondence to have them removed,
Ensuring your credit score is accurately restored in line with your legal rights.
